Schools provide a range of mental health resources to support students’ emotional well-being, academic success, and overall personal growth. Students and families can access support through school counselors, psychologists, social workers, and other trained support staff who are available to help with concerns such as stress, anxiety, peer relationships, grief, and personal challenges.
Families may also be connected with community resources and various outside agencies that offer additional counseling, crisis support, and family services to ensure support extends beyond the school setting. These resources are designed to create a safe, supportive environment where students feel connected, understood, and empowered to seek help when needed.
Our virtual calming room is a supportive online space designed to help students manage stress, regulate emotions, and take a moment to reset during challenging times. It includes guided breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, relaxing music/sounds, coloring, grounding strategies, and links to wellness resources that students can access whenever they need support. By providing easy access to calming tools and coping strategies, our virtual calming room helps students build self-regulation skills, reduce feelings of overwhelm, and return to learning with greater focus and emotional readiness. It also reinforces the importance of mental wellness by giving students a safe, private, and accessible way to practice healthy coping habits both in and out of school.
